About five years ago, I received a blessing to launch pilgrimage trips. Unfortunately, because of the pandemics break-out, our worthy deed was postponed for several years. However, just as after a storm always comes the calm, so our ship called “Russian Tabor” confidently set sails for the pilgrims’ beacon of Faith, Hope and Love!

We are sincere in our desire to introduce you to holy places, to show life inside monasteries, tell about sacraments of the Church and much more. We will do our best to look after you as if you were our dearest friends, providing care and comfort during the trips.

We will be happy to video record your most important spiritual events, such as christening and wedding, as well as your baby’s discharge from a birthing center and children’s celebrations. Every event is an individual project that we make with awe and love. You will have a movie that will help you keep a memory about the event, which you can share with you nearest and dearest.

The name or our pilgrimage service «Russian Tabor» is blessed and have a deep spiritual meaning. Mount Tabor is where the Transfiguration
of Jesus Christ took place. «Russian Tabor» promotes soul transformation of pilgrims who visit holy sites of our country.

With love, Yours pilgrimage service.
ABOUT “RUSSIAN TABOR”

To get acquainted, let me introduce myself.
ABOUT ME
I’m Alexander.

My spiritual journey started in my small homeland Magadan in 2001. As many other boy from that time, I was an active, careless and a little naughty guy. But at 20, my life changed extremely. The Lord brought me to through many sorrows Himself, as the prodigal son. I was in obedience to my ghostly father while helping build the Hermitage of Saint Sergius of Radonezh. I learnt the basics of Orthodox Christianity, including Church Slavonic, reading spiritual literature, and altar service.

As a train runs on two rails, I lived two parallel lives. One was loaded with worldly routine; another was devoted to church matters. At the end of 2008, the Lord granted me with the opportunity to move to the central Russia. I visited sacred sites, lived and worked in monasteries, met monastics and priests. As a result, I made a lot of friends from the Orthodox Church of our immense Motherland!
